Document Update

It’s probably not the most exciting thing you’ve ever read, but getting stupid documents together is unfortunately a very big part of emigrating. Grrr…

20191230 Docs Needed

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll see we’re sort of “zipping” through this list, if you define zipping in months instead of years. Anyhoo, we are running about 6 months ahead of schedule on some of these.

There is a distinct possibility that we’ll maybe hit May 2020 instead of September 2020. I’m equal parts thrilled and horrified. I am excited about what the future will bring…I am devastated about leaving certain parts of the past behind.

I’ve actually asked Andy very nicely not to speak to me about the inventory list of our house and the sale of things until after our holiday week in January. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and I just need a breather for a week or two to bend my head around things.

I’m such a pansy sometimes…hahaha.

My daughter Kyla married a German man last year in July. We waited 9 months for her a unabridged birth certificate. They had a long road.

My boys have UK passports as does Kev’s girlfriend so their transition in papers was easier.

Kev and Max had two household of goods to sell. Give away. When they left in December they had 3 bags and doggie named Dingo.

    Good luck!!
